No. Surprised its not at least one of those minor holidays you see on some calendars like Grandparents day. Still no idea why they choose Juneteenth when that implies it could be any day from the 13th-19th. There had to be a better portmanteau.

Probably the shared "ne" in June and nine. Works better in writing that in speech I think.

16 is what it ends up sounding like to me. June=6 so Juneteenth=16. Even knowing it isn't that, I keep thinking it is. <_<
