I can't form into words how to describe my feelings towards this situation that would fit a TOS friendly description

25 to life easy. Its a deliberate crime that abuses their position of power to potentially destroy someones entire life.

Possesion with intent to distribute charges and permanently banned from law enforcement at the bare minimum, they're ruining innocent lives here they shouldn't get a slap on the wrist.

In addition to the cop being punished every single case that coo was involved in should be thrown out, its is no longer being a reasonable doubt that he planted fake evidence in any case he was part of.

you plant drugs on a suspect, you obviously shouldn't be a cop. so obviously ban, beyond that i dont know; what's the going prison sentance for the amount of drugs they plant? maybe tack on an extra decade for fraud, would this be called fraud?

I'd only say 25 to life for a singular case for something super major, like blaming a million dollar bust on the wrong person. Otherwise, 5-10 years seems suitable for a single case. If it's a serial abuse situation, then that would be different.

Police interactions should be mandated to be recorded. The courts need to stop giving them the benefit of the doubt in terms of things like simple possession. If theres no body cam footage to prove that they found it, the charge gets thrown out.

Right now, if a cop went into court and claimed that I had something illegal in my car, I could attempt to say that he planted it. He would deny it and the court would ask for evidence. Neither side would have any proof, but I would get the charge because youre guilty unless proven innocent in drug courts.
