A kickass demo of what turned into an awful game.

Brave Fencer Musashi couldve been a classic, but it might not even be in the top 10 Squaresoft games on the Playstation.

It is however a fun game, which is more than what whatever game ever was.

Yea, it was just okay. I remember Palmer forced me to finish it. I played it like 10 years ago and It was probably cute and charming when it came out but ehhh. Above standard ps1 title but nothing mindblowing

Forgotten gem!

It's like Ocarina of Time but with a much bigger emphasis on a fun story, fun characters, good jokes, lots of dialogue. Amazingly, it was fully voice acted, and IIRC pretty darn good voice acting, especially considering the time period.

I much prefer Musashi's gameplay over OoT's as well since it's top-down, so the controls are easier, so they can throw you into a lot more wild combat situations, and no janky camera, no janky first-person mode.

There's still plenty of exploration too, lots of heart pieces and other collectibles.
