To answer your question, yes. A one time payment of 1200 is laughable, especially in a pandemic. I believe Trump will at least want each American to get doubt, so 2,400. He's going to do anything reassure his re-election.

Of course, but kinda late now. The US needed to shut down properly, but it didn't. Then reopened because people weren't being taken care of and had to work to survive. Plus a lot of dumb people and how the US has managed to politicize basic safety.

Lets be honest. If there was never any corporate bailouts from Trump (or pick whichever politician) and they gave all the money to whichever citizens, theyd still be crying and complaining that it wasnt more, didnt come sooner, blah, blah, blah.

A lot of people just want to complain or are expecting the government to fix their lives. I say take the money from the stimulus or your tax refund and enjoy it. Theres no need to whine, though.

How this should have been handled:

• $1500 biweekly checks to every adult, working or unemployed with $500/kid.
• Essential workers on rotation for their jobs every 4-6 hours with access to hygiene products and ppe.
• Work with farmers and food stores to enact safe distribution of food and other essential products.
• Launch Community programs to make and deliver masks, face shields, and care packages for front line healthcare workers.
• Optional: If anyone makes it political we shoot them in the knee.
