A white Tennessee police deputy was left awestruck earlier this week when he was surprised with an anonymous gesture of kindness from two black women.

Deputy Jody McDowell of the Sumner County Sheriffs Department had stopped at a Cracker Barrel for breakfast when the good deed took place.

When it was time to pay for his meal, he discovered that the women had already taken care of the billand they left him a message that read: BLM [Black Lives Matter], but so does yours! Thank you for your service. Breakfast paid.

McDowell later published a photo of the note to Facebook hoping it would reach the women. I want to thank the two sweet black ladies who paid for my breakfast this morning, he wrote.

Although the women left before anyone had a chance to get their names, they were reportedly waiting to board a flight home to Baltimore, Maryland from the nearby airport.

Yes, and protesters also shot a black store employee. He was a retiree who wasnt hurting anyone.

We shouldnt use either case to try and diminish acts of kindness.

Im not hating on these women. Im hating on the police. I'm saying they are too good for the cop. and he didn't deserve to have his food paid for by them

If your response to someone doing a nice thing and someone thanking them for it is this level of bitterness, irritation and anger then you have problems you need to address.

Um that isn't what happened at all. He was firing a gun out of the rear of his building and got shot in the chest.

he was firing at rioters threatening his business though. the news tried to paint it as he was shooting at the cops. and he didn't even try to kill them. he shot into the air to scare them off

His mistake was shooting while the cops and national guard were there. One of the first things you learn as a gun owner is you don't shoot warning shots, you either shoot to kill if your life or another life is in danger or you don't shoot at all.
