The bathroom thing is overblown in my opinion because it seems obvious they just weren't thinking about it. Like he didn't intentionally take a camera into the bathroom to be edgy, his cameraman was just stupid and followed him in. I guess you could be mad at him for being stupid or not hiring a good enough cameraman but to put it on the same level as "cheated on his wife" just seems like you're trying to find reasons to dislike him.

There are already plenty of reasons to dislike him, you don't need to pretend like you're mad about him accidentally filming in a bathroom to make more!

I can agree with this.

It's a reason for twitch to be upset with him because it exposes them to liability, and that is a reason for them to discipline him for making that mistake. But I don't see why your average viewer should be up in arms about it unless there was an intent violate privacy that resulted in the bathroom filming.

Uhh I don't know about that one. It doesnt seem like an accident because it happened multiple times during the con. If you read his apology he says he was trying to capture the "authenticity" of the character and didn't realize it wasn't okay.

Sure seems like he was intentionally trying to be edgy to me! Not "hehehe gonna film some people peeing!" necessarily but I'm not seeing any good faith argument that he wasn't trying to be controversial unless you think the experience of watching Dr. Disrespect pee is integral to his brand.

Again it's stupid but agree to disagree about his intent I guess. If he didn't think there was anything wrong with it of course they'd do it multiple times. If someone told him it was a bad idea or he got a warning and THEN he kept doing it that would be one thing.

"Don't film in a bathroom" seems obvious when you spell it out but if I were in the same position I might have made the same mistake. His entire apology could have been "whoops, my bad. won't happen again" in my opinion.

Not defending the guy but people are hating the wrong parts of his personality.

I'm not saying it makes him a terrible person, but you can't claim to summarize Dr. Disrespect's dramatic history and leave that part out. It shows that he's generally an idiot and was temp banned in the past

There's also no way you don't notice your cameraman following you into the bathroom. If it was just "he forgot to turn off his bodycam" then yeah, I could buy that, mistakes happen. But an actual guy trailing you is hard to miss.
