It's a beetle kid.

It will burrow in through your sinus cavity and lay eggs in your brain while you sleep.

Nothing to worry about.

Dolomedes, have you ever encountered bloodsucking spider beetles?

Everything I have read suggests they do not bite, but when I lived with my parents, the beasts were terrible for nibbling toes.

I dont believe they are supposed to, but feast they did.

I waged a scorched earth policy against the swine for years and was forced to wear bed socks to avoid their attentions.

I still find it fascinating carpet beetle larvae are almost twice the size of an adult. I've come across quite a few over the years. They don't really do anything, but they love roaming the dust and fibers of stuff.

Though this does remind me I need to check and see if the trapjaw ants are still in the yard. I suspect yes, but haven't seen em since before it got cold last year.

Oh yeah, seeing this also reminded me that I found a nice big fat jumping spider yesterday. It's one of the ones I've allowed to roam the house because it doesn't bother anything. It must have been hunting/feeding in a window. It's easily an inch in diameter, maybe a hair over. Either way the thing I found a bit creepy is how it had such good vision. It was tracking me and my arm nearly 3 feet away. Turned to look at me a few times "I see you looking at me"

I think its that one where they burrow into you skull, then lays its eggs in your brain.

They're cool cause when the eggs hatch they shoot out of your face like bullets.

nah, i just have a habit of sticking words into movie/song/show titles or just, like, common phrases. she took to it, as well

Ooooh like the replace one word in a movie title with ass but its random words!

Too bad you didnt get to date a witch tho, broomstick rides are awesome and are environmentally friendly.
