Welcome to the King of Fighters 2020 (NOT MERCS) Simulated Character Battle Tournament!

The game is simple. The two* listed characters are placed in an (imaginary) location with a variety of (imaginary) environments, kind of like a picture in a child's schoolbook that describes different types of geological features. Within a ten mile radius, there is an (imaginary) urban downtown, exurbs, plains, snow-clad mountains at the edge, dry plains, etc. Fighters start wherever is most appropriate for them, but feel increasingly compelled to seek out their opponent and fight. Strong-willed fighters can try to hold out in their chosen environment for longer... eventually, all will succumb and actively search for the other to battle.

To participate, just vote in bold for whichever character you believe will win. Giving reasoning is optional, but please be polite and read what others have said and carefully make your decision. I'll ping the nominators (they can opt out) to give arguments if they wish.

In theory, I could imagine Sheldon somehow building some kind of weapon or trap that could defeat a T-Rex. Unfortunately for Sheldon, he is from a mean-spirited comedy show. Since it would be much funnier for Sheldon's elaborate anti-dinosaur plan to fail, we must assume that's what would inevitably happen.

Some questions I have:

Sheldon is enough of a nerd that I would fully expect him to have already thought up multiple ways to defeat a T-rex. But would he have access to enough of the materials needed to do so, and would he have enough time to get them ready?

Also, how competent is Sheldon with actual physical invention-type stuff? He teaches theoretical physics, but I don't know skilled he is with, say, building a device to submerge the T-rex in ice or something.

How does Sheldon react under pressure? If he knows a T-rex is coming for him, I suspect he'd actually be kind of excited and motivated to win, but I don't know the character all that well. All his careful prep could flee when he actually sees the dinosaur coming.

Finally, if Sheldon stays in the urban downtown area to prep or build some sort of device, how skilled will the T-rex be at finding him? Will it just plow through the entire cityscape, or could it get stuck in between interlocking highways or some nonsense?

Withholding my vote until these questions are addressed.

He might not start with tools, but couldn't he pick up some things before he meets the T-rex?

If the writeup says he doesn't have tools (which I interpreted as not prohibiting him from picking things up along the way), then I don't think Sheldon has much hope. He doesn't strike me as mentally adaptable enough to hatch a scheme on the fly, and though I do think he's likely to have gotten into arguments like "how would you defeat a dinosaur in a fight?", if he doesn't have access to any hypothetical tools, he's kind of dead in the water.

Sheldon has access to whatever he can find lying around. I don't think there's an elephant gun handy for him to shoot it, and I really doubt he'll be able to invent something either. That's not his field and would be pretty tough anyway

Fair enough!

The only questions left are: will the T-rex have an easy time navigating the urban terrain, and is Sheldon clueless enough to actually try to, say, talk to it and ride it or some nonsense? How oblivious is he? These questions are more curiosity than anything; I don't see him winning.
