Well, you see what happened to Colin Kaepernick.
I am not a huge Football fan, but damn was he not out in front of all this shit.

That's true. But if every single NFL player stood in solidarity with him. The NFL wouldn't have been able to punish him. The most important part and factor in a social justice movement is unity

That, and the same reverence for the First Amendment the some seem to extend exclusively to the 2nd.

I dont get it. What does the First Amendment have to do with the NFL?

If you just mean censorship in general, as in within both the private and public domain, it looks like its here to stay.

The end goal is a full and complete freedom. We need land ownership, home ownership, business ownership and an economic ecosystem in the places that we're living in as well as real political freedom. As of now even in black majority neighborhoods are still dominated politically and economically by non black people due to economic starvation and the history of oppression

Ultimately I believe Black Americans need to work towards independence Nationhood and a Nation on a new foundation of their own to be truly free from this government's white supremacist systems. Reparations is just one piece of the puzzle
So you want to... secede?

Also join the line of people that don't have a full and complete freedom.

The Freedom of Speech and expression seems like a very natural right to me.
IMO, taking a knee during the national anthem...which doesn't even need to be played, is more sacred then pulling a gun on someone.

More like an autonomous zone or territory of our own. This government should be responsible for helping us get established. All would be free to enter but it would be a Black majority population and under our own self leadership

Then once it is stable and independent we could potentially work as allies in the future.

The only way you can have real freedom is if you're able to own the land you live on and if you're able to govern for yourself.

This should be the goal we should be working towards over the next years and generations. I think with the present social construct today there may always be anti black oppression so independence is the only real long term goal I see for this problem. The issues of police brutality racism etc. Today are the exact same issues that we've been struggling through for the last 60-70 years, back when even MLK was alive. Might as well go in a new direction

And I believe it's possible because 150 years ago, in 1870 slavery had just ended and society looked very different compared to what we see now. If the effort was put in and we came to a common ground to work towards this goal honestly it definitely could be done

So you want to effectively segregate because even if it was legal, you'd have bad faith actors that restrict non-blacks or harass them for "being in our space"

So you want to be separate but equal? Have two 'nations' working together but separate from each other?

Also how do you go about providing this zone or space? I'm sure there are majority black neighborhoods that could serve as a starting point, but America is either majority white or mixed. So you'd have to either start in a neighborhood that might not have a lot of economic upward movement or you get stuck somewhere in the middle of Montana with little to no natural resources and you'd be back at square one, except even without homes or anything.

We're already separate now in most our neighborhoods. Most Black people wanted integration and true equality but Mainstream society did not. We're not treated as equals in any part of society there's two separate rulebooks we're judged by especially the justice system. Even when it came to gentrification the mainstream society would laugh and make mockery. They wanted domination not integration. So that's why I think the true answer is Separation. We need our own land, schools, businesses and justice system of our own so we can ensure ourselves true freedom. That's the end goal we should work for

It can start gradually with the Black majority neighborhoods. Give increased control over school curriculums, the justice system etc. To the people of those neighborhoods.

Every individual should be able to decide what they want to do. Those that rather stay with the mainstream should be free to do that

You can do that though by becoming involved with local politics.

It's happening right now that's what this movement is about

Right now Black people are making their criteria known and demanding that politicians stick to their agenda. Or else they're not voting for them

Also in regards reparations and lottery winnings you can edit the latter to whatever the reparation pay will be and the end result is the same.

Uh, no. What do you think happens with the extreme winnings of lotteries? This is a well documented thing.
