Just singling once race out when every race faces mistreatment is asinine.

There are also Latinos who get mistreated. They aren't black, but their lives do matter.

Asians as well. Native Americans. Indians.

Every life, all lives matter. And when BLM(who's official site only references BLACK, UNDOCUMENTED, AND HANDICAP) comes around and pretends it protects all races, but doesn't give a single fuck about any latinos or asians(not to say there aren't good people supporting this garbage movement that care)...why the fuck should I support that garbage? No, instead, make it seem like only black lives matter. Justice to one race over all. Fuck that noise.

Not to mention, their founders are 'trained marxists'. So that's a thing too.

I always felt like "our lives matter" or "black lives matter too" would have been much more powerful messaging and sidestepped a lot of the dumb arguements while still getting the point across

People would still be finding something to simplify and twist. I can already see "Black Lives Matter Too" being actively responded to with "so does x lives!" Better to push the organic messaging or the one that caught fire and educate people on the what and why, rather than crafting a soundbite to appease people the easiest.

Some cops seem to show more restrain when handling a dangerous white person than when handling a dangerous black person. They will try to avoid shooting the white person if possible, to restrain them.* If the person is black, they are more likely to shoot, because "it's just a black person, it doesn't matter".
Well, it matters. Black lives matter too, just like everyone else's. It's not "only black lives matter".

*We've seen news of "cop talks down suicidal man with gun" (the guy is white), and then we have news of "cop fired for not shooting suicidal man with gun" (the guy is black).

The problem with the term all lives matter is that it's not taken by face value, nor was it adopted as such. It came as a response to black lives matter, where it tries to downplay the violence and racism the black community suffers from.

While no one should be the victim of racism, it's asinine to downplay or outright ignore the disproportionate amount of racial attacks in the country.

As a sentence "All lives matter" is pretty easy to understand in english, that doesn't mean that I can't understand how people would see that phrase as a counterpoint to "Black Lives Matter"

What a lot of people are thinking is:
"BLM" = "There is a problem with police brutality against black people"
"ALM" = "BLM is wrong"

Though I would guess the BLM in the ALM person's mindset sees it more as a problematic movement than a false claim.

The world would get easier if we spoke literally and not in mottos of ever shifting meaning. I've seen the claims:
"Racism is incredibly bad and horribly unforgivable, racists deserve all the suffering they get"
along with the claim
"By virtue of being born white, a white person cannot help but be racist."

And if you chain those two ideas together we obviously have a problem. Overall we need to speak more freely and precisely.
