A Revival of the late 80's/early 90's prime time comedy awas given a pilot commitment from ABC as Fred Savage, who starred as the original teen Kevin Arnold will direct the pilot and serve as executive producer The Wonder Years was a coming of age series of a young boy and his life in a middle class family living in the american suburb Each episode was told through recollections of Kevin as an adult through narration of Daniel Stern Fred was praised for his portryal as a young protagonist and became the youngest actor nominated for a Best Actor Emmy at 13 as the series won an Emmy for Outstanding Comedy in 1988 The revival was a sizeable commitment from ABC after they received a script approval from a small writers room and will be developed for the 2021-2022 season.
