This, every show he was in after just wanted him to play the same Kramer character so he couldn't do anything new.

That was my favourite film as a youngster. It got to the point that I would be so unutterably naughty after watching it, I was banned from ever watching it.

Very unlikely. In fact, none of the Seinfield cast have really done huge things since leaving the show, although JLD has had the occasional film and attempted tv show.

Not that most actors from a major show typically have a huge career afterward. Guys like Ed O'Neill (Al from Married with Children who went on to star in the award-winning Modern Family for over a decade) and Ashton Kutcher are very rare exceptions.

JLD has actually been reasonably successful, particularly with Veep beiing a huge hit.

Her show, Veep was very successful, to the tune of 7 seasons and six consecutive Emmys.
Unless you mean TheNew Adventures of Old Christine, in which she also won an Emmy.

A huge hit is a massive embellishment. It's a mildly-known shown on HBO, not exactly a household name.

I'll admit that it ran longer than I thought it had, though.

On HBO. And not like Game of Thrones HBO where it's on HBO but everybody knows it because it's huge, but the normal kind of HBO where it runs 7 seasons and most people wouldn't recognize the name if asked.

Veep at its best is still completely overshadowed by her work on Seinfeld.

That wasn't what was being discussed though, it was whether she'd had success post-Seinfeld. Two different shows with a combined 12 seasons is still pretty successful.

Julia Louise Dreyfus has won plenty of Emmys for seperate shows after Seinfeld. She's the most accomplished comedic actress of all time.

Honestly, that incident is probably the only thing keeping him somewhat relevant. Most sitcom actors don't find continued success. Might be that it hurts his options for bit roles, but it sets him up for a potential comeback story.

The funniest part of the video was the woman audibly gasping when he started shouting the slurs. But yes, and even afterwards the hecklers were like "all you got is Seinfeld and you have nothing else" and he basically walked off the stage after a bit. Its one thing to just have a bad set as a comic, its a whole different ballgame to completely tank your whole career but hey he deserved it
