Yes, kangaskhan does have elements of a kangaroo in its design. But it's also just ridiculously monster-like and really not that reminiscent of a kangaroo at all imo.

I'm talking like a normal fighting type kangaroo with a pair of boxing gloves or some shit like that. We have no Pokemon that are explicitly a kangaroo

Hopefully it's a matter of time. Always wanted it to be a proper evolutionary family going from a cute joey to a badass adult roo that differs in appearance by gender (female having a pouch and the pre-evo in said pouch)

Always found Kangaskhan to be kinda off. Like, I do like it but it just doesn't cut it.

Literally the only thing that kangaskhan has in common with Kangaroos is the pouch and the name. That's it. Different head shape, body shape, leg shape, arm shape, hand shape, etc. It'd literally be unrecognizable as anything remotely kangaroo-like without the pouch.
