Everything it sets to default really any website can still install whatever they want through reverse engineering. Someone can just get a list of your passwords through active directory and hash and crack. I have so many old sites in there i used to frequent too where if someone does a mass hack on any site. I still have no idea how they hacked my root email though. I changed the password when i started getting notifications and then they hacked that. That's just very odd.

Every couple of months I have to clean out my girlfriend's laptop with anti-spyware and other cleaning software, because between her and her 2 brothers, so much junk gets through. Unnecessary extensions that get added on, she had three different anti-virus programs that were downloaded within the span of 2 weeks.

She uses Chrome too. I use Firefox.

I don't even care is the thing. I've been on the internet for so long. they are all old accounts so no way i am going to go back and change all that. I've kept them in there instead of erasing them because at least chrome shows if something has been compromised sometimes.

Best solution is don't trust people. Even supposed trusted sites. I used to not even use the internet that much and was living a totally different life. That's the best solution.

Quit using Chrome after their ugly UI switch. Haven't looked back tbh :\ if I want a Chromium browser I just use Vivaldi.

Install Sandboxie and have it set to delete on exit.
