The Disney trilogy at least has TFA as a decent movie. The PT has nothing.

The prequels built upon the Star Wars universe. The sequels destroyed it.

TFA blows all the prequels out of the water. TLJ killed star wars for me. Didn't see ROS.

TFA alone is enough for me to put the sequels over the prequels. Star Wars prequels are unwatchable movies imo

Sequel Trilogy, for me.

I hated the prequel movies.

Revenge of the Sith is my favorite Star Wars movie. The Last Jedi made me never want to see a Star Wars movie again.

Sequel trilogy is higher quality all around. Better effects, better writing, better directing, better acting...

Prequels are good for a few awesome scenes and loads of meme potential.

Both are fun for different reasons but the sequel trilogy is more watchable.

I'm probably biased because I legitimately grew up with the prequels and I've seen all the bonus features, played nearly all the games, etc. but the prequels.

The prequels felt like a proper addition to the Star Wars universe. Everything, even if not executed the best, played into setting up events that would lead into the formation of the Empire.

The sequels felt boring and lifeless. The lack of a real plan for the entire trilogy is so painfully obvious throughout the entirety of it that it makes the whole goddamned thing feel useless. They may technically be more competently made films but I have no investment in literally anything going on because they never gave me a reason to care. At least with the prequels you know the eventually it'll lead into the OT.

If they had brought George on board as a supervising director and incorporated even a part of his vision for 7-9 then i think it'd have greatly benefited. All the ST feels like is corporate safe stuff
