For those who don't know, Usagi Yojimbo is from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles lore is a samurai rabbit.
https://i.imgur.com/BBMBGSm.png Netflix will soon adapt comic creator Stan Sakai's long-running Usagi Yojimbo, which will be re-named Samurai Rabbit: The Usagi Chronicles for a new animated series. Deadline reported that Sakai will also serve as an executive producer for the series, along with Aquaman director James Wan. Unlike the Castlevania adaptation, Samurai Rabbit will be made using CGI animation and will use classic Japanese historical references alongside high-tech imagery. The original comic book series, which debuted in 1984, tells the story of Miyamoto Usagi who lived in 17th century Japan. The Netflix series will focus on Miyamoto's descendant Yuichi as he goes on a quest to be like a true samurai. According to the report, Yuichi will be joined by a roguish bounty hunter, a cunning ninja, an acrobatic pickpocket, and a faithful pet lizard as he seeks to become a great warrior and fight strange monsters and beings from other dimensions. This would not be the first time Sakai's creations have jumped to the world of animation, as in the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series had a crossover with Usagi and, most recently, in TMNT from Nick. It had some appearances by the ronin rabbit who was voiced by Yuki Matsuzaki. https://www.gamespot.com/articles/classic-comic-usagi-yojimbo-heads-to-netflix-in-ne/1100-6479806/ --- ... So wait, is he from TMNT? Or his own thing thats just been featured in their universe? And does TMNT lore go back to the 17th century?Usagi Yojimbo got a different creator and he was published by a different company. Eastman and Laird had no real idea what to do with their turtles, so they allowed crossovers and the ones with Usagi are the most successful and remembered ones. Technically yes and no... We got so many different versions of the Turtles now but if we look at the original one, the Mirage comic one, then the Foot was an old ninja clan and the Turtles did some time travels to... many places, some pre-historic. The perks with a timetravel friend I guess. If we look at the last comic version, then... So yes. --- GameFAQs isn't going to be merged in with GameSpot or any other site. He had a C64 game with a pretty nice karma system.
He is looking for a kidnapped child and the maps contains both normal (farmers, monks, etc) and bad guys (ninjas, people wanting the bounty on his head, etc). You got two modes, battle mode when he got his sword out, runs faster, jumps higher and can kill enemies, and a normal mode where he sheath the sword, walks slower and can bow his head to the normal guys. Bowing your head means that you show respect, and earns some karma. Drawing your sword in front of normal guys, and killing them, makes you lose karma. And if you hit zero karma... harakiri! And some ninjas pretends to be normal guys, trying to backstab you. --- GameFAQs isn't going to be merged in with GameSpot or any other site.
