It may not bomb critically but a 200M+ budget movie with not every theatre re-opening by the end of August and in fact are still only allow partial reopening so not all seats will be filled mixed in with audiences not ready to go back cause of risk of covid...sure theatres are reopening overseas but they too aren't at capacity and the current numbers don't seem to reflect a movie with a big opening number....

However it looks like WB wants to be the first to roll out a big movie anyway in a staggered release if they don't chicken out again as they don't want to go streaming..Disney might be watching first to see how it goes with Mulan but even if it stays in theatres for a looong time, don't expect it to get any huge numbers in months.

But the die hard Christopher Nolan fans say they will watch it no matter what even if it opens overseas first..and even open in CANADA first..but will that be enough?

So who thinks it will bomb?

Oh wow I did not get that at all from your post

I can't believe they didn't push it back Internationally too, it's the international market that wants it edited down, uf anything you would think they would debut it here (and other places without a time limit) then show it in china and other places with a time limit when they lift their restrictions

Either way I wouldn't consider any movie coming out and not doing well bombing, given the context of what's going on
