Either I've gotten lucky or the drop rate on ascension materials isn't as awful as other stuff. I got 3 Fateweaver crystal drops last night.

This raid is tough but it seems like 20k+ contribution is enough to get you max boxes which is doable with level 80s.

Okay I rerolled a few times until I got Lloyd Velvet and 2x Magilou. Don't really have a 4th character I want to use right now so I have Cheria slotted in the fourth slot cause she's cute

I guess I can get Farah who is supposed to be a good memory stone for Lloyd pretty easily from reading the last topic. Is there a time limit on that?

Had enough saved for 10 pulls, so I decided to pull 5 on this banner and 5 on the next one. Didn't get any events, but I did get an earth SSR (Cress!) and another water (Asbel), plus another dupe of Sorey so I'd say I was pretty fortunate.

I think you can rush all the Farah stones in five days. You just have to liberally use your stamina regen items (and buy the daily stamina regen pack from the shop). No hoarding.

Apparently the trick to doing well in the fire raid is just to use Water Kanonno and have her MA during the break period. People are saying it's bugged to do too much damage but I dunno. Right now her MA does 10k normally and 60k on a crit. Her Memoria gives her +75% crit damage so I'm not sure how much it is bugged by.

Surprised it has taken this long for people to work out as she does silly damage on her MA all the time when it crits so it's not like it's just this raid it works on.

Is there some sorta newbie guide to get my dudes online as quick as possible.

I think for now you're just going to want to spam the story mode quests. It will raise your account level, get your a good amount of resources, and the stamina cost for them is currently 1/2 so you should be able to get through a lot of them. This won't make your characters super strong right away but it's the necessary first step.

yeah especially while the 1/2 AP event for story chapters is going it's certainly the most efficient rank-up experience you can gain while gaining some mats on the way

... in fact even I should be making some more use of Story before that event ends

I've taken to spamming the highest cost mission for the Farah Limited Event. The exchange rate of the Farah Funbucks for the ascension materials is really, really good. Each completion of the mission gives me 75 funbucks (and 200 Affinity, also important), and the super rare ascension materials cost 100 while the medium rare ones cost 50 or less.

I think I'm starting to be of the opinion that SRs will be worth building when your resources allow it. The bonuses for being the strong element against a raid boss are going to outweigh the extra stats / MA of an SSR when survivability is an issue. I have to imagine that having a 100 neutral SSR even with a healer isn't going to cut it once raid bosses go up in difficulty.

Seems the Water Kanonno bug is not Kanonno herself but the Memoria stone. It's supposed to increase crit damage by 75% to longsword users but seemingly buffs it far more. My Kanonno should be doing like 23-27k on a crit. She's doing 60k.

So theoretically any longsword user can abuse it. If they are non water they lose out on the bonus stats but may still be worth it

If that is the case, do other crit dmg increasing memoria behave similarly? I don't use any of them

Just did an experiment on the event wind raid, Very hard. Did 2 runs with 0 aid and made the line up the exact same, in order as well, no guest character. Same party, except I have level 80 Stahn in one and Level 70 Rokuro in the other. Let it run on auto.

This is obviously subjective as hell, but the one with Rokuro got done faster, and never fell below 50% on anyones health. The one with Stahn had Stahn die (despite all stats being higher), the follow up Leon die, and left with Misella. Still won though.

So yeah, I'm all aboard the SR train to get a mono team going.

From what people have said, no. They cited Kyle's working out correctly. I'd have to look into the formulas to see what could be go wrong because to get from what Kanonnos should be to what it actually is, is a huge difference that shouldn't theoretically be possible by just being a typing error. What should be a 2.25 multiplier is actually more like 3.8 or something

I think the game is mostly balanced, at least the SSRs are. Haven't used the SRs at all so I can't comment on them.

The way I hit 100k damage was to save up all my best artes, have everyone's Mystic Artes available, use their skills in a certain order to maximize the combo, then end the combo with Velvet's MA against an enemy weak to her element, with a crit. It barely breaks 100k then, and considering she's Level 90 with a Memoria that gives her +1640 Attack and literally doubles her crit damage, I'd say that about adds up.

When one character can determine if you survive every Very Hard raid until the end and if you don't have her, you can't... that already means balance is busted.

It's not worth my time getting like 1-2 chests every 5-10 minutes because I can't survive without Estelle's busted ass MA while everyone else can get 4+ because they'll never die with her.

Just really dumb.

Yeah, I just died on Very Hard Wind Lizard raid with 3 incredible Earth Units after like 10-15 turns because I don't have Estelle. This is just dumb.

I never live through a Very Hard raid but it doesn't matter to me. Just play until you get wiped and move on. As long as you get 30k+ points you'll get a pretty good amount of chests once other people finish it.

If it makes you feel better, even with Estelle I died in under 10 turns.

Lizard and fire dude will mess you up, especially Lizard. Nothing you can do against status effects unless you have specific Memoria.

Yeah even with Estelle there's very few very hard raids I can live through from start to finish. It's basically event wind and that's it. I can survive a long time on water. The rest though, you still get fucked up.

Healing AI is also absolutely atrocious. Like if not for her MA she would be worthless due to the AI being so bad. Usually blows her First Aid on high HP allies and that's if she doesn't just sit there not fucking using it with everyone nearly dead. There's been plenty of times I've wiped because Estelle just refuses to use first aid and just keeps using normal attack instead.

It's so weird because at release the AI would always keep everything on cooldown but it seems it has gotten worse and worse about not using skills as time goes on. It's like it either breaks or they have done something to make it worse since release

Also I'd be all for letting non B8ers into the guild if they are active / donate. Not sure how many of us are still playing daily but doubt it's a lot now and it's going to start costing us with donations being limited.

Only major problem I have with the game is the chat/connection issues. I've missed big damage in raids because in the middle of a combo where I have to press Mystic Artes in a specific order and specific timing it goes OH MAN THE CHAT IS BROKEN SHUT EVERYTHING DOWN and while it re-connects I can't press any icons. Game also crashes...more than it should.

Raids are really rough without a healer and with a major part of my arsenal being squishy people like Leon. But I am mostly fine with dying as probably 90%+ raids ultimately finish.
