Because I've seen it both ways now. You're a Karen if you get upset at someone not wearing a mask, and I've seen that you're a Karen if you get upset at someone asking you to wear a mask.

So, is Pro-Mask or Anti-Mask people Karens?

if you're wearing a mask, you're at risk by those who aren't wearing masks still. >_>

being upset at someone else refusing to endure a minor inconvenience for my safety is perfectly reasonable and does not qualify as a "Karen" thing to do.

For somebody to be a Karen they have to be making a big deal out of something that isn't a big deal.

Ignoring mask mandates and pandemic denial in general are an actual big deal.

Depends on the situation.

If they are in a grocery store- the non mask wearer is the Karen
If they are by themselves, masturbating in the park with no one around them at all- the one yelling at them is the Karen.

That's how I see it. Most of the time, Karens are people who feel entitled to something and are willing to start a commotion over something like....well let's say that I've had a woman yell at me because we no longer had blueberries as it was a seasonal thing and we stopped stocking them. She was so upset and she took it out on me and said something along the lines of "I had blueberries just yesterday and now you say they're gone today!?" Thing is, she was a regular so she came in everyday to eat and the chances of her being around on the day that they ran out were so freaking high that, why yes, you showed up on a day that they ran out.

On the other hand, I've seen anti-maskers who are complaining about the new rules and masks in general and then start heaving and coughing everywhere like they got the freaking plague...

The person not wearing a mask is the Karen, anyone who says otherwise is probably a Karen
