Much better experience playing with the Pro imho Skater XL released today, too. Been waiting on that. They made it so your thumbsticks control your front foot and back foot, which is a cool idea but so far isn't jibing with me. This control setup means you don't steer with the thumbsticks, you steer and do turns with the shoulder buttons. Takes some getting used to. They tweaked ideas from the Skate series and so far I'm not sold on it. Game world feels empty. Doesn't feel "lived in". Soundtrack is meh - although I only played for a couple hours last night.
