Do you find it harder to play very well, or play badly in a convincing way?

The PotD reminded me of the times I'd pity play against a friend or relative and still win because I was too busy trying my hardest to lose convincingly. I'd accidentally mash out a combo in Mortal Kombat or something and get the win.

Honestly, I think it's much more difficult to lose in a way that makes you look like it was just you sucking than to try and win decisively. The latter, I feel, is easier to improve. You're always trying to get better in a game.

How do you get better at sucking?

It's easy for me to tone down my skill because Im naturally low effort. It's focusing on doing my best that is challenging for me

It depends entirely on the skill differential
