I was intimidated by Stellaris but I found that with a bit of patience the expansive level of detail to the gameplay was worth it

I played and beat Xenoblade X, most games don't intimidate on the complex scale.

Divinity is pretty simple to me honestly.

The hardest for me are at the end of the spectrum. Grognard games like wargames or in particular Slitherine style ones. Way too complicated for me.

I've only played Divinity: Original Sin 2, and I feel that it was pretty accommodating to casual players (like myself).

if you really understand its systems, you'll likely enjoy it more, but I only really paid attention to how different elemental stuff affected each other, for the most part, and I really enjoyed my time.

Yeah I bought Civ6 after playing Rev and was completely lost. Rev was super easy to grasp and generally player friendly. Civ6 was like playing an encyclopedia that I need to use YouTube videos in order to understand lol it was fun for a while to try and figure out but I never ended up completing a game.
