It's quite hypocritical to say that it's ok for the unemployed to gather in large groups in protest of injustice, but then to say sending them back to work is dangerous.

I'm all for fighting injustice but now people are just being uncivil.

People die, dude. It's a part of life. We take risks every day when we leave the house. Tons of people die from the flu every year and we don't lock ourselves away trembling in fear. Tons of people die on the way to work in car collisions. You could literally argue that letting people go to work in 1999 was causing people to die but thats fucking stupid. You know what else kills people? Economic depression. Maybe you live a life of socioeconomic privilege but people in the US still die of starvation and probably way more than you're actually aware of.

If this country locks itself away for another year and a half to two years like what is being suggested, the economy will take decades to recover if it ever does. Lots of people will die due to that alone. Already an alarming number of small and medium sized businesses are closing permanently. All we will be left with is giant corporations. The middle class will be gone.
