The Florida Teen was busted by the FBI who zeroed in on him and now faces 30 felony charges He is described as the "mastermind" of the July 15 breach that saw famous twitter accounts hacked and used to plead for donations via bitcoin to a wallet controlled by the attacker They netted more than 100,000 in bitcoin through the illegal scheme 2 other conspirators, 19 y/o Mason "Chaewon" Shephard from the United Kingdom and 22 y/o Nima "Rolex" Fazeli in Florida were the other 2 as they were charged with conspiracy to commit fraud and money landering and aiding and betting Chaewon used the monikor "ever so anxious" and lived with his mother but it's not clear if Clark was the mysterious hacker "Kirk" who offered to take over twitter accounts for a fee using middlemen on a gamer forum Chat history between the men showed them having discussions with "Kirk" for offers to take over usernames for a fee which evolved into a full scale hijacking scheme Clark will be prosecuted locally because Florida law allows minors to be charged as adults in financial fraud cases as State Attorney, Andrew Warren said the bitcoin scheme has been taking money from americans all over the country and it happened right in their back yard and they won't stand for that Clark lived in a quiet suburb on the edge of Northdale Golf & Tennis Club and had just graduated recently from high school Twitter says the hackers fooled the social media company's employees into giving them high level administrative credentials in a phone scam to mislead certain employees human vulnerabilities to gain access to their internal system..
