Not that I have a problem with Gordon Ramsay, I'm just looking for something chill to watch. Hit me with some recommendations! I have Netflix and Hulu available.

Gordon Ramsay had a series where he traveled around the world learning recipes and techniques that was actually super chill. Great Escape, maybe? It was interesting because he learned some weird stuff but some of it did look damned good.

Learned how to properly reheat pizza from Food Wishes, I should probably give this a sub.

I haven't watched Master Chef for years now but I recall Gordon Ramsey being largely chill there. If anything there was a judge named Joe I think who could be more rough.

Crazy that nobody has said classic Iron Chef, that was one of the biggest ones back in the day. Just make sure to clap when Chairman Kaga bites the pepper.

I've at least seen clips of this and I did like what I saw, but yeah Joe is kind of obnoxious lol.

Bon Appetite on Youtube had some good series before it destroyed itself.

"It's Alive" - Hosted by a wacky chef making fermentation food. Highly recommended.
"Pro Chef Learns" - Hosted by a sassy chef trying new cooking techniques. Chef is a hit or miss depending if her personality suits your taste or not. She does for me, so I'll recommend it.
"Back to Back Chef" - Hosted by a mother-like chef giving direction to celebrities you usually don't know how to cook. Fun show especially if you know the guest celebrities.
"Gourmet Makes" - Hosted by a highly train chef who creates gourmet version of junk foods. It's the highest viewed show on the channel, but I don't like the chef and it's overly produce.

Rest of the series can be skipped.

Gordon Ramsey Uncharted is great for this. He goes to various locations and learns about the local food culture from local people and then puts together a dinner using local ingredients. Hes clearly having a lot of fun, and its both informative and chill.

I recently discovered the cooking show channels on Pluto TV, and some of them are pretty good. I don't really care for most "celebrity chefs", but most of the programs on like the Gusto channel for instance feature chefs that aren't really at that BS celebrity status, and don't have the pretentiousness or fuckery which comes along with that. My favorites are Flour Power and License to Grill.

License to Grill looks pretty cool, I'll check it out. I don't get a chance to have outdoor BBQ often enough (one of the downsides to living in Texas lol I already sweat too much just from walking the dog) so I can see myself living vicariously through that.

Great Chefs was an old PBS show that has free episodes on YouTube. It's just straight how to cook and nothing else.

Something's Burning with Burt Kresicher on YouTube is hilarious. It's just him and a few comedian guests cooking whatever. Some duds due to the guests but Burt is really lovable.

Chef's Table on Netflix is a documentary series that detail a specific chec and their cooking philosophy. Absolutely gorgeous looking show with amazing camera work.

Eat. Race. Win. on Prime Video shows a professional cycling group with their traveling chef. It is a sports show cooking show and travel show all in one.

Just watched the one with Bill Burr and the constant nose rubbing and water in hot oil gave me anxiety lol.
