Really? Says Mnuchin who is nothing but a crook and a shyster. Remember when he wa staking those flights on the taxpayer dime. Well. the country couldn't afford that either but he did because he thinks he's entitled.

Remember that $1.7T tax cut? Well again the country couldn't afford that either but they passed it and unlike now with the COVID-19 crisis, they did not hesitate to ram that through but they're dragging their feet when it comes to the "commoners"

But this has been the GOP's mantra since Reagan. Reagan during a speech once said Unemployment benefits were just a prepaid vacation for freeloaders..

Now you have to understand when the GOP began going after social programs etc, they did so out of racism because they did not want non-Whites, i.e. Black people getting anything from tax dollars and the late GOP strategist said as much before he died.

I don't mind unemployment being 600 dollars a week but they should be paying the people actually working just as much.

Roll back the Republican tax cut for the rich.
Make Mnuchin pay for the flights he took.
And stop giving unemployed people +$600 per week and thus making more than those working.

Literally no one in power wants to do all of these, if anything the compromise will be to do all of the exact opposite. The compromise is never to reduce the deficit, only to raise it by handing out goodies to everyone.
