Started about three weeks ago. I would drink about 5,000 mL a day (~10 standard 500mL water bottles). This is making me pee so freaking much and I hate it, because it wakes me up a couple times per night.

Oh fuck. Diabetes does run in my family... Aw man... Does it just randomly start?

Well I have my annual physical scheduled in a couple of weeks; guess I'll find out then.

Diabetes would be a decent guess. Hungry? Weight loss? Were you/are you overweight/obese? History of diabetes/early heart attacks in your family?
History of diabetes on my mom's side (the one that's not because you eat too much sugar). No changes in weight; I am slightly overweight (5' 11", 200lbs).

I was real thirsty and pissing alot for like 3 days. went to the doctor and my blood sugar was 450. before that felt fine. I wouldn't wait too long if it persists. learned later its all over on my dads side which I don't have much contact with...

You should get tested if you have a family history of diabetes, but I don't think it's that.

My guess would be that your water consumption is too high for your electrolyte levels. You likely aren't getting enough sodium, potassium, or magnesium to support 5L of water per day. Either add more of those into your diet or with supplements, or try lowering your water intake to 3L.

Also use a refillable bottle and a filter. 10 bottles a day, geez man.

I really don't like the taste of fluoride in my water, so I go buy the 40 pack Costco water for $3. Literally finish that entire thing in less than a week.

So I don't have other symptoms of diabetes (numb/cold extremities, dizziness, blurriness in vision; can't test if I'm not healing, since I don't have any cuts). I wonder if it's because of what I've been eating.

Anyway TC, as someone else said, I wouldn't wait until an annual physical, specially if it might be cancelled due to covid. I understand how taxing an ER visit can be on the US (assuming that's where you live), and while not a medical emergency right now, there's a small chance you may end on the short term with with ketoacidosis or hyperosmolar hyperglycemic nonketotic syndrome if this keeps going without any treatment, which are serious complications that require intensive care. If it's affordable to at least have your venous blood glucose tested ASAP, I'd do that.
My annual appointment is literally on 8/17. Think I can wait for that? Or should I try rescheduling that to next week?

The thing is, what's going to happen in your annual appointment? Are you gonna get blood tests before it, or are you going in for a physical and then see what happens? Is there any chance you can have those blood tests taken the same day of your physical?
Yes, I'll be getting a blood test at a minimum. But if I tell this to my doctor, he might recommend more tests.

Lmao don't go to the ER for a VBG. Call your PCP and get an order for a BMP tomorrow then you guys can discuss in a week. If it's abnormal they'll definitely get you in earlier.

I drink almost twice that most days, just so stay healthy, and avoid getting stones. Btw, I stop a little less than 5 hours before bedtime, and most of the time I only need to get up one to pee. Sometimes I can even hold it in till I get up.

Alright I'll call my doctor tomorrow and tell him what's going on to try to get a blood prescription sooner. Then I'll go to Labcorp or whatnot to get my blood drawn and tested.
