  1. Stack up Gold subs and convert it to Game Pass for a dollar. This and the hardware are the biggest initial costs. But doing this is still way cheaper than Game Pass in general especially if you can find Gold for cheap
  2. Use Microsoft Rewards on PC. Do the Bing daily tasks every day. Bing something like 'Katy Perry Songs' and quickly click through them to max your points in a minute on PC and mobile. This takes a couple of minutes and the more days you continually do it the more points you get. I think this earns you about 250-300 points per day on average
  3. If you play Game Pass games you can even gain more points. Pretty easy to earn them quick if you're dedicated enough but it's honestly not needed with the Bing stuff. Also if you earn an Achievement you gain 50 points each day you do so for any game
  4. After you've earned about 12,500 points (might depend on region) you can redeem a month of Game Pass. If you have enough of a gap covered you can likely get Game Pass for free for most of next gen. If they keep this up you can probably cover the entire generation. It generally takes me around 3-4 weeks to hit that amount I think
I guess they benefit because you're tying yourself more into Xbox by doing this and most won't bother but still. Pretty easy to take advantage of.

1) Get a job that pays more than minimum wage and paying for a month of Game Pass is cheaper per hour than doing all of that

Hecks yeah. You get tons of points for buying games or buying/renting movies too. They have big discount days where you can get XBL/Gamepass/controllers etc at a big discount. I just do a Bing search for the numbers 1-50 and then do those laughably easy 'guizzes' for tons of points per day. Everybody should be doing this.

I was redeeming it for credit before. That's another good way to do it. But I just started to think that maybe I should redeem it for Ultimate since in my region the cost of Ultimate is actually cheaper to redeem than the credit and this way I can basically get it for free for an extra year or longer if I keep it up. Currently expiring mid 2022. I converted the $1 thing early last year IIRC.

Yep. Dunno if they're doing it in the US but this month you can rent movies for $3 and if you rent three movies this month you get 2500 bonus points.
