Hulk Ultimate Destruction made Hulk seem powerful though lol you could use fucking cars as boxing gloves. In this game dudes with shields are blocking his shots. Just seems like a bad design choice. There should absolutely be more team synergy and reasons why your character exceeds at one thing while another fails instead of just "oh this one flies and this one has a grapple hook". From the quick looks I've seen Hulk seems like the worst character easily.

You can throw and smash goons all over the place in MUA3. That's basically what has abilities are. Do a ground smash or that clap move and you can juggle several enemies at once.

But that's also an arcadey beat em up so it's a different game in general.

Making video games is expensive as hell, so I don't blame developers having to shill themselves to get financing. I'm honestly for more annoyed at Sony having Spiderman as an exclusive character. It reminds me greatly of SFxT when the PS3 version had not only 5 exclusive characters, but an additional game mode that was not available for the 360 version.

There is exactly this. Hulk is an absolutely unkillable monster with a huge affinity for close combat.

Not all enemies. Try and do something as Hulk to an enemy with a stun bar in 3, and tell me how quickly he gets destroyed. Or an enemy with an elemental effect or enhanced in 1.

They gave props to the PS4 Pro for sustaining a stable af frame rate and also the 60fps Performance Mode but there's also an "ehhhh" afterwards when it came down to the repetitive Destiny/Anthem gameplay. And you can see it too, their attacks look so powerful and should be but when you look at enemy HP, it's like dealing with a top tier Final Fantasy boss.

If that style of play is someone's jam, to each their own.

The character who had multiple standalone movies made about them and even recently joined up with the Avengers in a recent movie? Yeah I don't think most would have been disappointed.

When I played, enemies went down quick. It just depends on player skill and levelling abilities, like an RPG or loot based game...because it is one.

Yeah, but honestly? The model isn't too bad atm.

You only pay for skins and emotes, all heroes will be free, you can earn premium currency(iirc? dont quote me on that), and it seems only cosmetic stuff will be paid. So far, anyway

Unless there is something crazy announced post-release, it's a pretty good deal. All gameplay exlcusive stuff will be entirely free, so I'm pretty fine with that.

I'll definitely eat my words if the model ends up being bad in the end. We'll see lol.

That video is legitimately from the very first point where you can press square in the game to attack. You can mash square in DMC4's first playable segment too and succeed. I guess that's a bad game too? And Spidey PS4 as well.

He sounds like he'd fit in great at IGN, though. Using the first few seconds of gameplay as his basis for how good the game is.

It does.

And said AI are based on your own builds. So if you have, say, a Cap that has a support tree(idk if this is a thing), he'll have that. They'll also have whatever gear and costumes you equip on them.

So basically, like playing with yourself lol.
