I very rarely sell things on eBay. I sold something tonight but I don't even remember the last time I did before tonight.
When I signed in to collect the payment from the buyer, it said I needed to provide my social security number for tax purposes. Is this legit? Is this something new that they're requiring now? --- Magic isn't real, it's tricks done by a liar. ... Copied to Clipboard!

What about if two people make a transaction within paypal, eg, a person sends you money unilaterally because you covered their bill at a restaurant the other day. Do they still require SSN?
