I did between graduating college and gong to grad school. Wasn't too bad, but I didn't have much of a social life so when I wasn't working I was just chilling and didn't ever have big expenses.

I've worked 60hrs/wk

You just don't have a life outside of work so if you like your job and you're single it's not too bad. Made me like my job less though

one summer in school I worked as a janitor (40 hours a week) and as a security guard (irregular, but often 10-ish hours in one shift)

it was tiring, and I definitely did not have as much time for me as I would have liked. but my coworkers were good, and I made good money

When I was active military I technically was working about a 70 to 80 hour week, be in formation by 7am and sometimes we didn't get back to the barracks as late as 9 or 10 at night. This was 6 days a week. I went like this for nearly 3 years, it's legitimately just your entire life, but you adapt. Get home, shower, watch something for 20-30 minutes before falling asleep. Your only real down time is that one day, mine was a Sunday. I slept for a lot of that day usually.

Ive worked some legitimate 50-60 hour weeks. It sucks. Youre just tired on your off time and you cant go anywhere or do anything. Hopefully its for a career job and not some job without much advancement.

Nope.

I fully explained to them I was available only on Fridays and Saturdays because I worked Sun-Thur at my main job, just wanted an extra boost, and they were perfectly okay with that. At least the store manager was.

Regional manager was cool for like a month and then started pressuring me into taking more hours, which i wasn't gonna do.

So after a month of him breathing down my neck for not caving in, I said, you know what, fuck you, I'm out.

Yeah during busy season I would work 60+ hours a week. Usually 9 to 9 during the week then 5 hours Saturday.

It was pretty miserable as weekends I would basically do chores Sunday and go back at it.

I did that for a few years in my late 20s. The second job helped me save up for several things that would've put me into debt otherwise.

I don't miss being tired all the time, and I found it made me over reliant on fast food or eating out because I was too tired to cook.

I used to work about 56 hours every week
The extra money was def worth it (if you make a good wage and get overtime pay etc)

I was never really overly tired from it. I got used to it and it felt it just started to feel normal after awhile. But if I missed a day then Id definitely feel it on my check

I did eat a ton of fast food but Im still doing that working a bit under 40 hours rn

Just be sure to give yourself some you time often to keep your sanity

I have done it. Occasionally do it even now, but luckily I'm in IT now working from home. It's great when its overtime from home.

When I did it years ago in retail, my tolerance grew thin real quick for customers and coworkers who didnt know how to talk to me on my 2nd job. After working 6am to 4pm, somehow I just had little tolerance for shit 4pm to 10:30pm.

I worked my previous full time office job 40 hours and worked part time at Walmart the weeks I didn't have the kids when my exwife was on mat leave not bringing in much money and kept working after our separation to secure my house from the bank then quit cause I didn't need the 2nd job. Did it for about almost a year.

Extra money was nice. I've thought about going back, but for tax purposes it might not be worth it. I haven't worked out the math. I do declare my basement tenant so that plays a role. It wasn't bad cause I barely do much at home besides watching a bit of tv and gaming. I can either relax or work to earn more.

I'm still saving money each month so to make a bit more depends on what I want out of life. Basically I'd come home from work change my clothes and go there and worked till 11pm. So basically working from like 7:30am-11pm. There were times where I felt drained by the 3rd day so you either need coffee or some energy drink to keep you boosted. And I'm not a fan of energy drinks and too much coffee.
