I don't know if it's the alarmist media but I'm hearing quite a few stories on colleges who are getting hundreds of infections from Coronavirus. I know some people on here are younger and find it interesting.

What's the sentiment out there? Just go back to school anyway and stay in the dorms and do remote learning?

Stay home if you can and do the shit remotely.

Ignore when people say that the title length is not important, that a title should just convey what the game is about. They're just jealous theirs isn't as long

My university is supposedly open as normal, but as far as I can tell that was just a way of telling the governor to fuck off.

The vast majority of classes are online, classes that are being held in person have a capacity of 12, are holding classes of 150 people in spaces that can seat 1000, or having 1/3rd of the class come in each day so all the learning is still primarily done online.

This is why I'm glad I work at a non-residential college. It's really the colleges with dorms that are experiencing the issues.

Our college has moved most classes online, and workers are in the office on an as-needed basis for appointments only. I've worked remotely since I started working there in April, and have only gone in like 3 times to the office to get keys and pick up some necessary supplies. My job can be fully done remote.

Opening in general was a mistake

If we'd just kept it in our pants a bit longer a few months ago and didn't feel the need to flex and show off how "well" we handled things to the rest of the world, we'd have quashed this thing by now
