Current Events > Dumb question: Would this be a 1 Day fast or a 2 Day fast?

Here is a dumb question. I only eat once a day at the same time. To make things simple, lets say its at 12:00 PM aka Noon. Im fasting today so I wont eat again until Noon tomorrow.

I told my brother Im fasting one day but he told me Im fasting 2 days. I mean... technically I wont be eating for 48 hours but Im only skipping 1 day of eating.

So... is that technically a 1 day fast or a 2 day fast based on that info?
