It's not fantastic either, but it's actually pretty fun. Weird that I wrote this off for so long, and just trying it out now, ok?

yeah but its really crappy

theres no real exploration, no lore, its super repetitive and reuses the same few environments and enemies for every mission, and every time you find a chest of loot it does that shitty mobile game thing where you have to wait several hours for it to unlock unless you want to use premium gems or whatever the fuck

they had the audacity to claim it was going to be a legitimate elder scrolls experience on mobile but its insultingly bad

I'm generally more surprised to find a mobile game that isn't absolute shit.

The best ones are small indie dev games that do something simple and have no microtransactions. The big budget ones that hit you up for cash every few minutes are always shit, ok?

It's kind of a mediocre RPG, but it's sort of halfway between Skyrim-style play and an actual MMO, so even people who hate MMORPGs can enjoy it. For the most part.

Where it starts to fall apart and really slide into pure MMO mechanics is once you get into the higher-end content and raids and stuff, where it becomes nearly impossible to solo instances without a full party, unless you're insane and have micromanged your entire build to be as optimal as possible.

The early-level main quest parts are easily playable solo, though, so you can basically treat the whole thing like a solo RPG that just has a bunch of random assholes running around in towns.

What current MMOs are worth the time? Particularly if my time is limited. FFXIV?
