Hi. Does the Nvidia GTX 1050 GPU support 4K monitors?
https://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX-1050-Notebook.178614.0.html I need to grab a pre-built laptop and just connect a second 4K display to it. I won't be using it for gaming at all; it's needed by my employer. Would the GPU support a dual-screen setup with a 4K monitor? Thanks. --- 'SantaKhala is the ruler, leader, and destroyer of the SC2 boards.' - ItsaMeMarioo. 'But all hail He, who destroyed the SC2 boards for some time.' - The_niblet. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Doesn't seem to be on NVIDIA's page for 4k https://www.geforce.co.uk/hardware/technology/4k/supported-gpus

It'll connect to the monitor, I would imagine, but I doubt it'll render 4K on it. Do you really need 4K for the work you're doing?

Why would a low-end budget GPU do anything at all?

Thank you all for the responses. That's not for gaming; it'll be used at work for the rare event when we need to run 3D modeling apps (like Autocad or Blender). Still not sure what the upcoming projects will be.
https://www.gpuzoo.com/GPU-NVIDIA/GeForce_GTX_1050.html This will not be a good card for gaming, but it'll support 4K (HDMI) and even 8K (DP) monitors. https://www.gpuzoo.com/GPU-NVIDIA/GeForce_GTX_1050.html Maximum digital resolution:7680 x 4320 @60 HzMaximum DP resolution:7680 x 4320 @60 HzMaximum DVI resolution:2560 x 1600Maximum HDMI resolution:4096 x 2160 @ 60 Hz --- 'SantaKhala is the ruler, leader, and destroyer of the SC2 boards.' - ItsaMeMarioo.
