Went in thinking The Library would be the hardest level in the game but nah, Two Betrayals was easily the worst level. Had to stop and restart multiple times like weeks in between each session because she would get so frustrated lol. Now weve just got Keyes and The Maw and were finally done with the first Halo. Only 6 more Halos to go

I haven't done co-op legendary on Two Betrayals, but solo sucks so bad once you run out of sniper ammo in the ship. Trying to kill all those enemies on the upper decks of the giant 3 level drop ship room w/ just a plasma rifle and plasma pistol was such a pain in the ass.

I can't remember if you respawn in Co-op w/ a pistol or not... that would help so much.

are you sure youre thinking of Two Betrayals? Two Betrayals is basically Assault on the Control Room in reverse but with flood thrown in there as well.

but yupp you do respawn with a plasma pistol in coop. that and an AR. that plasma pistol spawn is a god send

As much as the pistol is broken as fuck, the plasma pistol is slept on outside of the overcharge. Even the normal shots have good damage and can easily drop Elites in the 1v1.

Im dreading the part where you actually find Keyes on the platform and have to hold up in that room while flood keeps pouring in. that part will definitely be a pain in the ass

Yup, PP is probably my most used weapon against the Covenant when I play Legendary.

Yep, it ended up being my wife's favorite gun in our playthrough of CE. I never realized how strong it actually was.

i always depend on the overcharge and then switch to a secondary when going against elites but they always dodge the overcharge lol. Ill have to try just using the normal shots

Overcharge-> normal shots works for one or two Elites since the overcharge stuns for an eternity, but that's assuming you're not in the middle of the fray getting shot at by other critters. But normal shots will do in a pinch.

Like, I would not have made it through T&R and Keyes as smoothly as I did if I didn't see that normal shots with the plasma pistol did work.

Always happy to help! But this is CE only (Reach may have some success but you always have a DMR, so it's kinda moot). Halo 2 will murderate the shit out of you if you try to use the plasma pistol like in CE.
