Was the bar following any rules? The only time I went out, they were not at all. And it was the first time I got drunk in 3 years. My guard was completely down and I ended up waking up in the morning with anxiety about what I did lol. Took me like an hour to fall back asleep. Never again.

We're in Canada so everything is technically "open" but yeah they were following all the rules. Wouldn't let us in the lobby, had to wait outside. Then we had to wear a mask inside until we got to the table. Even going to the bathroom they made me stop and put on my mask before I could reach the bathrooms.

That's good. I guess part of it was that my sister worked there. So as long as she went inside, we all could as well. But outside near one has masks and we were all giving dap to strangers and all that. Like I said, I completely let my guard down. It was a social comfortability with strangers I haven't felt in 3 years and I gave into it. Just going back to not drinking for now. It was too much drama anyway. My cousin kept threatening people and I had to keep talking him down >_>. I realized..I don't miss this at all.

But as for date advice. Im a nature guy, so my go to is always like trails and little dumb outside sports type stuff. Stuff you don't have to take too serious. It all matters what she is into. I like giving the person an easy out from my ideas and having a back up. You don't wanna feel like they're only going along cause they're nice and didn't want to turn down your idea. Then again, some girls like a guy that just makes all the decisions and is decisive. They might see me being flimsy with an idea as a bad thing.

This wasn't like a dive bar, more of an upscale bar/patio/lounge thing. So no riffraff which was good. Also blessed us with a corner table so it was very intimate.

Yeah we might do a trail if she doesn't wanna do art gallery/museum. She seems like an outdoorsy type. But I'm not gonna triple text her now lol

The place you pick is like 25% of it if she actually values you over other stuff. You making it entertaining or fun is the bigger part. I'm somebody who is confident that my perspective and jokes are entertaining, so I just bank on that. And even if they're not, my confidence makes it more likely to trick someone into thinking they are lol. That's the power of learning to not second guess everything. It's a hard hurdle to get over, but once you do, you can smell the flowers way more often. Consider this practice if not anything else.

Just like work "fake it til you make it" is the key here. I'm still faking confidence in some areas and waiting til it actually clicks into place. You don't get there overnight.

Chocolatiers are amazing. See if there are any desert places near you and what they got. I got a place near me that sells brownies, caramel apples, cookies, fine chocolates, everything and its so fucking good. Go to a decent restaurant near by and then get some fine deserts.
