S6E31 - Walnuts and Rain - Finn and Jake fall into separate holes and each encounters a different person who tells them to basically wait in the hole for the other. Both seem to be very lonely and want to force the boys to stay with them. I do like 7718... or who I imagine is actually Bill.

S6E32 - Friends Forever - Gunther and the Gunther's are being assholes. Also the alive book demanded that we write in him... ew. Ice King uses the Life giving Magus to bring life to a lamp he particularly enjoys.... and everything else in the room. However they aren't great friends as they don't find Ice King especially interesting or fun. "I just wanted to be friends with you but you didn't even want to know me. That is cruel, far more cruel than I have ever been"

S6E33 - Jermaine - Jermaine and Jake are dreaming at the same time and see each other. Finn and Jake decide to go see Jermaine at their old house. Jermaine is taking care of all of their old stuff, including a monster named Bryce in the basement. Jermaine is VERY stressed out taking care of the house and after Jake messed up and puts the house in jeopardy they have a bit of a fight which causes the house to burn down. Bryce and Jermaine walk off together, Bryce having taken back his poster. Uhm... alright. I'm assuming I missed something huge happening in this episode. XD

S6E34 - Chips and Ice Cream - BMO is huge into a play involving only the words Chips and Ice Cream. BMO invites the creator (Morty Rogers) for dinner... who is very strange. The beings are actually on Mr. Rogers head and are transfered over to Jake. He regrets it however and tries to get them back. BMO figures out their language and finds out how to free them? My God this was horrible. One of the worst episodes.

S6E35 - Graybles 1000+ - The mini-stories dude, Cuber, interrupts a space wedding murdering one of the people getting married. Finn and Jake buried a thought-cannon and Cuber found it. He uses it to escape but breaks his leg. This leads to a story about Ice King breaking his leg and how he fixed it. This set up continues for awhile until... uh... we see the future where all the members of the Candy Kingdom are in the belly of their giant Gumball Machine Protector and Ice King has devolved into a flying hair monster? Uh.... huh

I was quite tired of Graybles by that point tbh. But Graybles 1000+ redeemed it for me by actually affecting/showing off some wild lore.

One of my favorite jokes in the whole series is when Finn and Jake are reviewing the footage from Jake's camera phone to figure out how they ended up in the nightosphere- when they get attacked or hit or whatever and Jake shouts "ow! My hippocampus!" thus explaining in a dumb joke why they had lost their memory of the events lmao

S6E36 - Hoots - Cosmic Owl meets a female bird like lady in Finn's dream that I will call Feather-Butt. He falls head over heels for her and he neglects his duties as the Cosmic Owl to ensure he meets her again, looking through all the dreams in the universe. He meets her again, only for her to want to enter Princess Bubblegum's dreams. In that dream, she basically makes everything go REALLY awfully. Cosmic Owl leaves her behind having seen that all she wants to do is manipulate dreams and use his power. He forces her to wake up, and we find it was one of the Guenter's dreaming?! HUH?!?

S6E37 - Water Park Prank - Daddy Sad Heads? Yeah, no, I'm done.

S6E38 - You Forgot Your Floaties - Tracking a piece of Glob falling to Earth, Finn and Jake spot BETTY grabbing it. Turns out she is working for/with Magic Man? Finn and Jake are turned into soup and an egg respectively and left to rule over his house forever. Betty has discovered that all magical beings have "MMS", Magic, Madness, and Sadness. Margles (the lady who is in the pictures with Magic Man) was his wife, and then was turned into a planetary defense system on Mars? Then we find out that Magic Man and Glob have a villain THEY fight called Galb? and he actually took Margles away from Magic Man.

Basically while Magic Man is trying to become the next Glob, Betty ends up taking his MMS from the looks of it? She now has his hat, and his powers, and his sadness. So I think she has found that there is a process to removing the MMS from magical beings?

That was a mind fuck.

It's a shame, because honestly that episode has some funny bits in it and is written entertainingly enough, but for me the art style really really really brings it down. Usually I'm down for whatever art style that the show chooses, but that one is just... Big meh. Brings the whole episode way way down.

S6E39 - Be Sweet - LSP is tasked with babysitting for Sweet Pea, and that goes about as well as you would expect. She does learn her lesson towards the end and shows some genuine love for Sweet Pea, but Mr. and Mrs. Treetrunks are not too keen to have her back after she destroyed the house. At the end of the episode, Sweet Pea mentions that the comet is coming, but there is a "fake comet" with a bad person in it.

That is strange given that I thought the Comet was always a vehicle for The Licht, which is currently IN Sweet Pea. What is worse than The Licht?

S6E40 - Orgalorg - Uh... are the penguins gonna use a gas grenade on Ice King? Gunter hid one in his cheese cake... and shoved it down his throat. XD. They are hosting a house party!!! He has another vision of the comet and his big green brains are showing!??! Gunter does a spell and makes contact with another planet that considers his spell Orgalorg? He ruled the solar system.

Uh, OK, huge lore dump. Orgalorg is a cosmic entity that wanted to gain power by intercepting a Catalyst Comet. This pissed off the King of Mars and Glob attacked him. This forced Orgalorg onto Earth where he forgot about his desired conquest. This... is Gunter. He kind breaks out of his Orgalorg self to stop his actions and is "fixed" by an awakened Ice King.

I hate that about this show sometimes. They spend dozens of episodes on nonsense and then lore dump all this in a single 5 minutes?

S6E41 - On the Lam - Martin is arrested again (or this is in the past) and he uses the help of some rebels to escape his captors. It is present time in the timeline as he reminisces briefly about Finn. Jesus he is a terrible person. I want him to have some redemption but fuck. I know he doesn't remember his past so maybe he was good then. Yuck. Currently he has no redeeming qualities.

He escapes the planet by stealing the rebellions only means of transportation, BTW.

S6E42 - Hot Digging Doom - PBG and King of Ooo are battling in an election! She is less interested in that and more on the incoming Comet. This disinterest has the citizens vote for King of Ooo. She decides to leave it behind as they are all Dillweeds. This is a long time coming as she has shown little cares for the Candy Kingdom recently.

However, Orgaborg has once again taken control of Gunther and he uses this insanity to take control of some of PB's stuff, including a space ship. PB sees the sky going purple and the space ship taking off with Finn and Jake on it.

S6E43 - The Comet - Orgaborg breaks out of Gunther's skin while in space. Finn and Jake are with him in space and are gonna try to fight him but are flicked away. Finn uses the power of song to see Martin and the Moth flying by.

Martin speaks of the joys of having no control but then the Moth is attracted to the light of the Comet. Orgalorg eats the Comet first and Jake follows him. Finn's Grass Sword power comes back and he releases the Catalyst Comet from the grasp of Orgalorg.

A being emerges from the Comet and asks Finn if he remembers.

Finn reminisces about how he was a Comet long ago and crashed on Earth and became a butterfly? The being in the Comet claims to be the beginning and end and offers Finn the opportunity to join it and give up everything on Earth. Finn shrugs it off saying he spent a lot of time cultivating the planet and wants to see it through.

Martin takes the opportunity to "change his mode" since Finn didn't. "If you burn enough bridges all you can do is move forward"

.... season 6 felt like a waste for the most part.

I think there are some rock solid parts of S6, but it definitely has some ultra weak parts. My least favorite season resolution by far.

But you've got the best episodes of the show ahead of you imo. Stakes is coming up I think. Stakes is excellent.

This is actually hinted at beforehand. There's an episode where he summons his spirit animal or something and it's a butterfly.

Congrats! You finally finished s6! That ending is definitely one of the biggest let-downs in the series, but I hope it doesn't completely turn you off. S7 is amazing, and I forgot how early Stakes is in the season so be prepared for a binge. Totally makes up for s6's dud
