I guess by that age you can see a bigger gap between people's health than at younger ages. Some people don't have health issues and exercise quite a bit and look great and like they're 30, some people probably look old and unhealthy.

I hear 50's and 60's is where you start to feel the age more, the body starts slowing down a bit you get tired more easily. Now 40 might not be as much of a physical peak as a 25 year old or something, but it's nowhere near where you start to feel old at times.

When I turned 40, my body immediately started falling apart.

It's pretty much the point where all my friends started to have "old people problems" like joint issues and digestive issues and hair issues and weird cyst-removal issues and high blood pressure issues and the like.

It's the gateway to the long rollercoaster drop to inevitable death!
