At this point if Mario All-stars 2 and 3D World Deluxe are real they probably get announced close to that date but won't come out until later. I doubt they just get shadow dropped.

Put out all-stars 1 on the SNES app that day though to compensate

Coincidentally also the same day the PS5 date and price are rumored to be announced

The rumor has been remasters of Mario 64, Mario sunshine and Mario Galaxy

This goes back to when E3 got canceled several publications including eurogamer confirmed that nintendo's plans were a big celebration for the 35th anniversary including those 2 games I mentioned already plus a new paper Mario

Now The Origami King has already happened which helped add more substance to the rumor and now we're just waiting to see if the other 2 games happen

Weren't these things 'supposed' to be out in September? I guess it could be November if they have no other release ready for holidays (Skyward Sword HD if that's still a thing). Also are they gonna be HD remasters or grounds up remakes? If they exist at all, of course.

it was supposed to be September for All-Stars, but now they're saying due to covid it'll now be October/November for that and 3D World Deluxe wouldn't be until January

At this point I don't care when they come out, just confirm their existence for my own sanity

Sunshine and Galaxy were gonna be just HD Remasters with changes obviously to work on a Switch (Fludd controls and Galaxy's motion controls)

64 is a bit more mysterious. It sounded like it would be more than that, but maybe not significant enough to be considered a remake. I'm guessing something similar to what Xenoblade saw.

Xenoblade DE's art style resembled the more anime style of 2. It would be cool to see 64 in Odyssey style, and that would kinda explain why we don't have an Odyssey 2 despite it being the most obvious sequel that could ever exist. Also if it's Xeno-y that could mean new levels to explore, or maybe they'll just throw in the DS content.

All-Stars must come out this year, they would've delayed Paper Mario if they had nothing else and Pikmin 3 is not going to be their big holiday game. Man I hope they have some new content though, Sunshine in particular could do with another world or two. At least they'll fix the rampant glitches in that one, presumably. Also please don't pull a Nintendo and sell each game separately for full price.
