But I've been going back and revisiting some of those old albums recently and enjoying them a lot. I've mostly been hitting stuff like SOAD, Deftones, Mudvayne, etc. but I want to do a deep dive soon. The hip-hop element of nu metal wasn't welcomed by hip-hop fans. You got that plus the image associated with it and no wonder it was hated.
