lol YOU ARE SO SMART!

poor white people :(
Please explain how this is me equating anti racism with anti white. Well I'm sure you'll find a way but you obviously didn't really accurately grasp what I was saying. It was a joke about how everything that dude posts is extremely far left so I was saying that if white people invented cancel culture he should really hate it. Has nothing to do with equating anti racism to anti white. Quit sjw-ing so hard. It's eaten up your critical thinking ability and your reasoning just dives headlong into "everything is racism" territory

Republicans: Democrats are trying to control people with "Cancel Culture" because they can't tolerate free speech

Also Republicans: I will never watch the NFL or NBA again or buy Goodyear tires or purchase Nike products because they offended me

Do we need to slowly explain to you how those 2 things are different?

Dont Republicans know they are legally obligated to agree with the NBAs stance now because they protested peacefully?!

Wanting people to peacefully protest is about them not rioting, looting, burning things up. Refusing to watch the NBA is about not supporting their stance, regardless of how they choose to protest.
lmao not watching basketball isnt because I disagree with protesting, is because I dont think police brutality against minorities (especially black peoples) is important

good argument

You're welcome to try, but I already know you aren't going to articulate a reasonable difference.

I forgot what/who I was addressing. I wouldn't want to offend you, you might end up peacefully protesting by burning down a house or something.

Why is it not hypocritical to decry cancel culture while at the same time cancelling Kaepernick for kneeling?

Cancel culture: trying to destroy something/someone because they did/said something you don't like, often based on absolutely fucking nothing or simply gross emotional exaggeration. See what leftists do when anyone does anything they don't like, such as trying to destroy Johnny Depp's career over a false #metoo claim.

Not watching the NBA for whatever fucking reason we want, including for promoting terrorist organizations' values: Customer's choice.

We don't want to destroy the NBA, we just don't want to give our business to a sports conglomerate who forgot that their job is to play Basketball and not try impose their values on everyone.

If you can't comprehend the difference, which wouldn't be shocking, I don't know what else to tell you.

These people dont care, man. Its a zero sum game for them, and the ends always justify the means.

Think Mitch McConnell gives a fuck if you call him a hypocrite for holding a Supreme Court seat open for a year just because it was an election year... and then say that if one opens up for Trump this year hes simply push it through?

Laws in a country have to be based on principles and values... none of which the GOP actually subscribe to... not unless its to further their power and wealth. THATS what makes them dangerous. Long gone are the days where I thought that we should live and let live. We have no choice but to use the same Macavellian tactics to defeat them, and save our democracy.

It's apparently ok for thousands of people to gather butt to nut if most of them are wearing a mask most of the time even though covid cases skyrocketed shortly after the protests were in full swing and went back down after they died out a little. Now that there's another wave of protests, I'm guessing the cases will go up again in a week or so in those places

There was an expression they were parroting at the time though as sjws are prone to do to push their dogma: "some things are just more important than a pandemic"

They're so full of shit

Do you not understand what happens to businesses if enough people stop giving them their business? I'll give you a hint: it rhymes with "blestroy."

How many people have you spoken to on the matter that have not agreed that protesters should be distancing and wearing masks as much as possible? Because pretty much everyone I know agrees that that would be a good idea, for what I should hope are obvious reasons. The left/right split is generally not on the basis of whether or not they should be practicing infection control protocols (if anything, this is the only circumstance where you'll get consensus on that, since most of the anti-mask sentiment in other contexts comes from the right), it's on whether or not they should be protesting at all.

Do you not understand the difference between hurting a business/person because you decide not to give YOUR money to it, and destroying it's lives/reputation because a person is a psycho who believes they have the right to ruin their lives/career?

Let me slowly explain to you: in 1 case, they do it by making a choice that they're entitled to as normal customers, in the other they do it because they're loony commies.

There is no difference. You can sugarcoat it as "it's my choice as a consumer" all you want, but at the end of the day, you're deciding that the business/person in question doesn't deserve to get money from you and withholding it accordingly. If you feel strongly enough about it, you share your rationale for doing so, in which case other people may jump on the same bandwagon. If your rationale is reasonable and/or popular enough and enough other people make the same decision (a decision to which they are all entitled as normal customers), the business or person may find themselves facing catastrophic failure as a result of that decision.

The difference you're seeing is not a matter of a difference in the fundamental logic or process. It's the difference between success and failure. You may not like it, but this is what peak capitalism looks like.

Its not interesting because they arent even remotely connected.

Moreover, Im not going to listen to it when it comes from a guy supporting the party that have givens tax incentives to shut down American factories for the purposes of using cheap Chinese child labor for 40 years.

Not remotely. That is the stance the NBA is taking with by protesting in this method. If you're going to talk about disagreeing with that stance, then you are talking about disagreeing with the stance that racially biased police brutality is bad. That's not a strawman, that is the literal meaning of what you said.
I was talking about the NBA's stance to back BLM and bring all of this politics into Basketball. Also, I never said anything about "disagreeing", you used that word. You can choose not to support something and still either disagree or agree with the message.
