Cluck cluck motherfucker

I myself am partial to the oyster. Shame there's only 2 lil morsels per bird

Guess I'd have to go with thighs otherwise

Chicken breast. People complain that the white meat is dry, but I love all of the meat being in one big chunk.

Drumstick or breast. Depends on how its prepared, but a big roasted drumstick tastes best, fried breast second.

Thigh or Breast, just due to the amount of meat on there and the ease to cook due to being so meaty

Is it though

I mean it's got less flat, bone content and cartilage compared to pretty much any other part. It's the easiest to overcook and results in the driest texture if you do.

I can understand if you're health conscious or looking to maximise them protein gains but for most dishes I'll opt for thigh every time

I sous vide mine.

It's juicy as FUCK every time.

Plus you marinade it in the same bag.

I feel like that is a very Scotish amswer. I consider thighs to be a bit gameir. Though I do love how they hold up in a soup.

I do a lot of curries and braised recipes so thighs are ideal for that!

Chicken breast is okay. My main issue with it is nearly everyone I know is so scared of under cooking chicken that they always massively overcook it.

Seared and cooked properly chicken breast has great flavour and texture but is rare to find.

So thigh wins my vote as it's more consistent and flavourful imo.

My persistent problem is I'll put sugar in a marinade and then misjudge the level of doneness when pan frying (because it starts to look burnt). Baking is more forgiving, but an instant read thermometre seems to be the only way I can get it right consistently.

Haha, Ya, I could totally see that.
That's why I use them bean soups and the like.
