Yes lets all forget that the boy was out there to give first aid to protesters, and the rioters and arsonists attacked him for trying to protect honest businesses/property. The people that boy shot were trying to kill him as he was not only in retreat but after he fell and they tried to kill him while he was vulnerable on the ground.

They were trying to kill him because he had already shot someone. If it were as clear a case of self defense as you make it out to be there would never have been any charges brought.

Also nice use of the term "boy" as an attempt to infantilize and soften the image of a person who picked up a gun, brought it to an area wherein there was conflict, used it to provoke further conflict, then used said conflict as a justification to shoot people.

That's not how it really works. Charges are sometimes brought even when it's clear.

The fact that the bald guy attacked first and cornered him is all that matters. It doesn't matter what these people thought, who were all friends with the bald guy btw.

That's not what happened. He was trying to fake him out. He pulled back and then came at him again. That's when he got shot. The guy basically let him go the first time.

And you can feel that way, but telling other people and who then post it on Facebook is dumb when self defense is the defense being thrown around. If the guy did do that, it wouldn't be self defense for him.

I think anyone who is under 18 is a boy or girl, like it or not they are still a kid just starting to be an adult.

When the guy says he wished he emptied his mag into the 18 year old who clearly could have killed him instead of wounding that shows he is a scum bag.

The boy could have aimed center mass or shot him in the head, instead he wounded him and kept trying to escape. He also could have harmed more people if he was not exercising control over the weapon yet only 3 people were harmed amid all that chaos. Maybe you dont know firearms or how a large group of people could have been much worse off but this boy showed precision , and mercy in a situation where he was being ganged up on.

I hadn't seen this yet, but apparently Grosskreutz approached Rittenhouse to ask him what he was going. Rittenhouse responds that he is going to get the police and Grosskreutz responds by yelling for people to "Stop him!"
