This is a really unfair aspect of the system. Very rich people get to buy through the IPO placement process, while regular folks have to wait until open. Since the vast majority of IPOs go up at open, this is free money for the rich. In this case, those IPO investors got an overnight gain of more than 100%.

I think there are some companies this year who are going to have their IPO directly on the market though. Hopefully those will be a success and more companies will do this in the future. There's really no need for the whole investment bank roadshow nowadays when all the information can be broadcast to the masses over the internet, they're not adding value, and they don't need to be rewarded with gargantuan profits with low risk just for being rich enough to buy before the stock trades on the market.

No I sold my shares and did a put.

I don't need it to go to 13.40 to make money, but 13.40 given trends of that length of put/call would be a boat load.

Also if it goes up from here until next wednesday I would be blown away surprised, so we'll see

AVCT poppin after hours. Finally some news! But for an AVCT pop this is really mild so far. We'll see what happens tomorrow. Hoping we can at least get to 6 sometime soon.

I'm working but will look more into this new CEO's history when I'm off. I just saw the "AT&T exec" headline and thought hell yeah, that's definitely a great headline. I wonder if the lack of news and the slow bleed out caused the board to replace Darrell. Wouldn't be surprised. They gotta do that offering soon to buy Kandi and the total silence was really weird.

Buy 1 $13.5 9/18 expiry AAL Call at $0.23 because I feel like the graph says it'll go up after that dip

Now call is valued at $0.50 and I could sell for 117% profit (which I would do if I had a day trade left)
