that's actually for the best. there is no reason our pledge of allegiance needs to mention 'God' since we are not a theocracy. also the phrase 'under God' was only added in the 1950s because of those dirty commies. it's beyond antiquated and should be forgotten.
it actually really annoyed me that i was basically forced to say 'under God' in public school --- Playing: Judgment; Streets of Rage 4; Rocket League You see it your way, I'll see it mine and I'll be fine ... Copied to Clipboard!

It's plausible he was taught it without, and if it was as rote and platitudinous as it was when I was a kid, reciting it without the phrase is probably automatic and burnt-in from his childhood. ...
