The Midwest, the West Coast, New England, the South, and the Deep South?

Midwest - normal America, with lots of regular people living in cities, towns and farms
West Coast - exciting and hot, with lots of important cultural history, such as the hippies, the beats, and the early LGBT movement
New England - wet, rainy, but lots of political and economic power, and some stuck up people
The South - religion, guns, friendliness, hot weather
Deep South - high levels of conservatism, religion taken too far, lakes, swamps, and bayous

So, what do you think of? Do you think my own views, which admittedly are very reductive, are accurate?
