Went to this local restaurant, and she came out to give me my food (I didn't go in; you can't go in, you have to call when you arrive, and they come out with your food).

She took my credit card and put it in a handheld wireless card/chip reader, and while it was in the thing, she asked how much would I tip. I said $0, and she asked why. I said it's a take out order and I don't want to tip for a take out order. She just gave me a look, asked me to sign, gave me my receipt and card, then walked away.

......I'm not the weird one, right? Who tips for take out? Unless it's like a giant order or something.

I agree that people shouldnt tip for take out

(I personally have been tipping for take out, but because theres a pandemic and I feel for the workers having to wear masks all day/making ends meet)
