I really don't think it's about how much my life has changed. I've seen no noticeable change. That's the problem. It's not like he's okay if things don't get too worse for me. It's still bad because there is still a growing trend toward authoritarianism and American leadership has no mind for progress toward bettering the average human's well-being. So in other words, the leadership is doing the bare minimum for the public such that they're struggling to wade with their mouth barely above water. Things are SO bad that our leadership can't allow them to get worse or things would fall apart. So I shouldn't expect things to get worse so that I can somehow justify my hate for Trump.

If there's any redeeming factor it's that he's going to be out of office by the time I retire so I won't get some bullshit letter from him.

If Coronavirus hasn't had any effect on your life, that speaks volumes about you. You're either too dumb to realize how big of a problem it is or you never leave your house. The only way this is a respectable thing is if you live out in the mountains like Mabus or something.

Nope, aside from the mask it's been busineses as usual. Working my blue collar job outdoors across the entire country repeatedly all year now. From the most major of citys to the most backwater towns you've never of heard of.

Haven't been effected yet to my knowledge nor any of my loved ones.

I just seen a guy online earlier that called it a hoax (not saying you claim this) until it put him in the hospital and his wife (still) on a deffibulator (fuck my sorry ass autocorrect for never reaching it's hand out >_>). Shit made me want to tear up. Nobody deserves that, regardless of what dumb influence they decided to cling to.

I certanly am taking it seriously and am wearing mask whenever required. This doesn't mean I have to live in fear though. Even if it means getting infected. I made a conscious decision to continue working despite it and will accept whatever the consequences(if any) for it are.

Wait...unless you're saying until you get infected. Then I agree with everything. I don't live in fear. But acknowledging other people's pain/hardships and living in fear don't have to be the same thing. They're not for me.

By saying Trump doesn't change anything for you, it makes it seem like you don't care about other people's pain and hardships. Which might not be the case, but when you turn a blind eye to him..what do you expect people to think.

I use to hold the same attitude towards the government and what they were doing. But that was before it got this extreme and in your face. Now, not acknowledging it just isn't a good look at all. Even my teenage nieces realize they have to acknowledge it.

At the end of the day. It's not like Id hold a deep seeded hate or grudge for someone who doesn't want to subject themselves to it. I get the blissful ignorance angle. I use it in a lot of aspects of my life as well. This ones just too hard for me to get there with.

I could use that same saying to mean that I'm gonna be helpful to others because the people I choose to be around are helpful to me. And I think it's safe to assume me being helpful around them directly contributes to their willingness to be helpful to me.

I've created better dynamics than others were use to with anyone else, because I didn't just whine and feel immediately entitled to them acting a certain way. Instead I just pushed my standards onto them by being upfront until they realized it would be far more beneficial for both parties to be more caring. Or they could just stop fuckin with me before anything even popped off.

I was also upfront about the stuff I liked and the stuff I didn't, so they could decide if they wanted to roll with it or move on and hang out with someone else. I didn't pussyfoot in a passive aggressive way and rely on the person to figure me out.

When you do that, you waste no ones time and you can decide early on rather you're gonna be good around each other or not. Which leads to a less jaded attitude you get from spending too much time around those who don't share your values enough.

Of course, if the person just sucks all around. You just walk away before any of this matters and don't walk away with the mindstate that all people just suck. Cause the only one you're hurting is yourself by having an attitude that makes the more plesant people push you away and leave you with everyone else with bad attitudes about society

That was super extra for a response to a simple post. But I guess I was in a mood. Maybe there's something there for someone, maybe there's not. Maybe I got you fucked up and you meant that in a more positive or neutral way. But as far as my personal experience, this stuff works for me 100% of the time.

You don't attach emotion to those moves. You never mix friends with business. Unless you're willing to put a price on that friend and come to terms with you having a price to them as well. I'm not trying to put anyone at risk. But my bills dont care and when push comes to serve my self and loved ones preservation is top priority. Also to my knowledge no employee has been arrested for working at any point....assuming it ever was illegal.

I do acknowledge it. But people are always suffering and there no 'one' means of reacting to said hardships. Some will react greatly, others not so much. Some dictate their happiness based on the wellbeing of all, some their loved ones, and for narcissists just themselves.

That and I work a essential job so regardless of my feelings I'm still contributing to society while leeching off as little as I can.
