I am moving there next month. I am more of a cold weather type of guy, but given my situation I really need to get out of the city I am currently living in. From what I heard there are hundreds of ways to beat the heat, is beating the heat that simple? What are ways keeping yourself cool in Phoenix?

I was thinking of moving to Las Vegas but the job market there is catered to gambling/services/hospitality.

Just stay inside if it's too hot for you. All but the shittiest of buildings has AC.

I'm sorry, but 10,000 of ANYTHING on a PS2 would absolutely destroy your framerate. It'd be like playing chess through the mail. ~johnboy1

Who the hell told you that?

No.

Be rich enough to afford air conditioning 24/7 and never leave your place.

You beat the heat by staying indoors. Or taking a weekend trip north to Flagstaff. Its not much different than Winter in northern states. You try to stay inside. The difference is youre not freezing your ass off when you get in your car in the morning, and you can still take somewhat comfortable outdoor walks after sunset. I play evening soccer year round, including sometimes when its 110+ degrees. If youre healthy and drink tons of water its not so bad.

Yeah but the job market in LV isn't better than Phoenix. There are other reasons why I wouldn't want to move to LV.

I live in Tucson and it gets pretty hot but Phoenix gets even hotter. You beat the heat by staying indoors but you also gotta me able to afford ac 24/7

I wouldn't trust this company with making a cheese sandwich, they'd start an additional kickstarter for the mayo-ssjmatthew on Comcept's MN9

I live in Phoenix and summer time is basically indoor season unless you're going for a swim. But yes, almost everywhere has AC. My electric bill in the summer is like $250/mo for my (all electric) 1500 sq ft townhouse and around $120/mo in the winter

This year has sucked because we've had record heat, and the number of interesting indoor activities has been severely diminished due to COVID.

I live right here Phoenix, it is damn hot here and it is rough working outside these summer months. Just turn on your AC and you will be fine if electrical bill isn't your concern lol

I'm gonna stand outside. If anyone asks, I'm outstanding.
